What is normal?

There are often times when we're reflecting on our fishing that we all ask ourselves ... "is this normal?" Sometimes we ask it after we've tagged three marlin in a day, and other times after we haven't seen one for three months. It's a question that Dr. Julian Pepperell is frequently asked, and as one of the most respected marine biologists and game fish experts in the business, he wrote a short article about that question 20 years ago which is still relevant today...
